Responsibilities
- Pick & Pack: Retrieve merchandise from storage areas based on picking tickets and prepare items for shipment.
- Inventory Accuracy: Utilize handheld scanners to ensure 100% accuracy in inventory counts and order fulfillment.
- Quality Control: Inspect packages for damage and ensure proper labeling and sealing.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse floor to prevent accidents and improve efficiency.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse machinery (training provided).
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the logistics team to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure order accuracy and package integrity.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and follow written instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to the Indianapolis facility.
