Responsibilities
- Retrieve merchandise from storage areas using RF scanners or pick lists and place items in appropriate carts or bins.
- Package items securely using appropriate packing materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order accuracy by cross-referencing pick lists and packing slips.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management software to log inventory transactions.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and adheres to all safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Assist in loading outbound trucks and maintaining accurate inventory counts as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours).
- Ability to lift, push, or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
