Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack: Accurately select merchandise from warehouse shelves based on customer orders and securely pack items for shipment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by scanning items and reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and handheld scanning devices.
- Quality Control: Inspect outgoing orders for damage, correct labeling, and completeness before dispatch.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and safe by adhering to all OSHA safety protocols.
- Stock Replenishment: Restock shelves and bins as needed to ensure efficient picking operations.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily productivity goals.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, walk extensively, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy to minimize errors in order fulfillment.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Math Skills: Basic math skills for weighing packages and calculating shipping costs.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and overtime if necessary.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is a plus but not mandatory for this role.
