Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move products using pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks to ensure accurate inventory placement.
- Picking & Packing: Efficiently pick orders from the warehouse floor, verify item quantities, and package products for shipment with high accuracy.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counts, stock audits, and maintaining accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Equipment Operation: Operate powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, stackers) in accordance with all safety regulations and operator certifications.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Shipping & Receiving: Inspect incoming shipments for damage and accuracy, sign for deliveries, and prepare outbound freight for carriers.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred but not required for entry-level positions.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. Must be able to work in various weather conditions if working in dock areas.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy, ability to read pick lists, and strong attention to detail.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Certifications: Forklift certification is a plus but we offer on-site training for qualified candidates.
