Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests and ensure accurate stock counts.
- Packaging: Properly package, label, and prepare items for shipment using appropriate materials.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment to prevent accidents.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and report issues.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Friday-Sunday) and occasional overtime.
- Documentation: Valid ID and ability to pass a background check.
- Skills: Basic math skills and ability to operate warehouse scanners/computer terminals.
