What You Will Do
As a key member of our operations team, you will ensure the smooth flow of goods through our facility. Your accuracy and speed will directly impact our customer satisfaction rates.
Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to ensure 99.9% accuracy rates.
- Material Handling: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload trucks safely.
- Inventory Management: Perform regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Space Optimization: Organize warehouse storage areas efficiently to maximize space utilization and workflow speed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage and ensure proper labeling and tagging.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and report any issues to management.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution center environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Certifications: Valid forklift certification is preferred but not required if willing to obtain certification.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and data entry.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with barcode scanners or WMS systems.
