Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect all products for damage or defects before processing and ensure proper labeling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Accurately record inventory data, including stock counts and shipments, using warehouse management software.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and workflow efficiency goals.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing between 50 and 75 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate scanning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions precisely.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing schedules.
- Valid driver's license (not always required but preferred for certain shifts).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
