Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with a focus on accuracy and speed.
- Inventory Management: Sort, organize, and stage inventory within the fulfillment center to ensure efficient workflow.
- Load & Unload: Safely load and unload packages from delivery trucks using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Equipment Operation: Operate powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts) as required by your role and certification.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets Amazon's high standards.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 49 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Availability: Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic Literacy: Ability to read and understand safety instructions and work order labels.
- Teamwork: Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
