Responsibilities
- Receive and Process Incoming Stock: Inspect incoming shipments for damages and accuracy, then log them into the inventory management system.
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently locate items in the warehouse and prepare them for shipment using proper packaging techniques.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move pallets and heavy items within the warehouse.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance checks on warehouse equipment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Basic education required for warehouse operations.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when scanning barcodes and handling merchandise.
- Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable using handheld scanners and inventory software.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
