Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan and process incoming and outgoing inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring all labeling and documentation are correct.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure they meet quality standards before storage or dispatch.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and housekeeping procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and other departments to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform manual labor.
- Reliability: Proven history of punctuality and strong work ethic.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure inventory accuracy and package integrity.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to count, add, and subtract accurately.
- Equipment Operation: Willingness to operate powered industrial equipment (forklift certification preferred but not always required).
- Communication: Effective verbal communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
