Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move stock and materials.
- Pick, Pack, and Ship: Accurately fulfill customer orders by picking items, packing them securely, and labeling for shipment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and stock organization.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and safe by following safety protocols and regulations.
- Loading/Unloading: Efficiently load and unload trucks using proper safety techniques to prevent damage to goods.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work well in a fast-paced team setting.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and data entry.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to get to work.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, is a plus.
