Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight from trucks and shipping containers using manual and powered equipment
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently
- Inspect goods for damage and report discrepancies to supervisors
- Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning systems
- Collaborate with team members to optimize loading sequences and workflow
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or loading experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
