Responsibilities
- Efficiently load/untract shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques
- Verify inventory accuracy through systematic scanning and documentation
- Maintain organized, clean warehouse environment following OSHA standards
- Collaborate with team to optimize loading schedules and dock utilization
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and perform routine maintenance checks
- Support inventory audits and cycle count processes
- Communicate shipment status to supervisors and dispatch team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation to Fort Wayne facility
