Responsibilities
- Load/unload freight trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts while adhering to FIFO protocols
- Verify shipment accuracy against manifests and report discrepancies immediately
- Maintain organized storage areas with proper labeling and temperature control
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and perform daily safety checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping/receiving targets
- Conduct cycle counts and assist in monthly inventory audits
- Uphold OSHA compliance and company safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in cold environments (0-40°F) with appropriate gear
- 1+ years warehouse or logistics experience preferred
- Clean pre-employment drug screen and background check required
