Responsibilities
- Unload inbound shipments and verify product accuracy against manifests
- Load trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks while maintaining FIFO protocols
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and conduct daily pre-shift inspections
- Maintain organized inventory storage and update warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and report equipment malfunctions immediately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping targets
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation processes
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain training
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work in varied temperature conditions (refrigerated/freezer zones)
- Basic computer literacy for inventory system operations
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
