Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks and trailers in an efficient and organized manner.
- Inventory Handling: Inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies and log them accurately.
- Equipment Operation: Utilize pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment as required.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment to prevent accidents.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Stock Management: Assist in stock rotation and inventory organization to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Experience: Prior warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Skills: Basic math skills for counting and inventory checks.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime.
- License: Valid driver’s license (Class B preferred).
