Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise onto and from trucks, pallets, and shelves using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Inventory Accuracy: Assist in verifying inventory accuracy by performing daily stock counts and reconciling any discrepancies.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment that strictly adheres to OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Equipment Operation: Properly and safely operate warehouse machinery and handheld scanning devices.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the inventory and shipping teams to streamline processes and meet daily productivity targets.
- Order Fulfillment: Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all items are correctly packed and labeled.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and experience using handheld scanners.
- Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends or overtime as needed.
