Responsibilities
- Load/unload freight using company-provided forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Verify inventory accuracy and maintain organized warehouse layouts
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently per OSHA standards
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting processes
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain clean, hazard-free work areas following 5S principles
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years warehouse/material handling experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
