Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload freight using company-provided forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Inspect and maintain assigned equipment daily per OSHA standards
- Organize inventory in designated warehouse zones using barcode scanning systems
- Collaborate with team to optimize loading schedules and dock efficiency
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and report equipment malfunctions immediately
- Assist with inventory counts and documentation accuracy
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license (required for equipment operation certification)
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (paid training provided)
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (refrigerated/freezer exposure possible)
