Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload freight using company-provided forklifts and pallet jacks
- Operate warehouse machinery (electric pallet jacks, order pickers) as assigned
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow efficiency
- Keep warehouse clean and organized per 5S standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to operate heavy machinery (training provided)
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexible availability including potential weekend shifts
