Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, errors, and discrepancies.
- Organize stock in the warehouse to ensure easy access and optimal space utilization.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Operate material handling equipment in compliance with company and OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure accurate stock counts and records.
- Assist in general warehouse maintenance and janitorial duties as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required; we train motivated individuals.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and labeling.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Valid driver's license (Class D) is a plus.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (loading docks) and stand for extended periods.
