Responsibilities
- Load and unload trailers and freight trucks efficiently and safely, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading to ensure accuracy and prevent damage.
- Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (certification preferred).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment to comply with OSHA standards.
- Assist with inventory organization and cycle counts to ensure stock levels are accurate.
- Report damaged goods or equipment malfunctions immediately to the Shift Supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds repeatedly over the course of a shift.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation is required; valid driver's license is a plus.
