Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks, pallets, and conveyors using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Verification: Check products against work orders to ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Packaging & Labeling: Properly package and label goods to ensure they arrive safely and are easily identifiable.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace to comply with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Equipment Handling: Operate warehouse machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage and ensure all items are in proper condition before storage or shipment.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus and follow instructions precisely.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Forklift Certification: Forklift certification is a plus but we provide training for the right candidates.
