Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise onto trucks, pallets, and racks using forklifts and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Utilize handheld scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately track and record inventory levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report any issues immediately.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free workspace to ensure efficient workflow.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily productivity targets and operational goals.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on equipment and report any maintenance needs to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with scanning equipment.
- Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
