Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely load and unload shipments onto and off of trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing inventory against purchase orders and packing slips using handheld scanners.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and conveyor systems in a safe and efficient manner.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols, wear proper PPE, and report any potential hazards immediately.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately to meet daily production targets.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse floor organized, free of debris, and ensure a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot discrepancies in inventory and documentation.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and understand written instructions and communicate with team leads.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Availability: Must be available for Day or Night shifts.
