Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks using hand trucks, dollies, and forklifts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing slips to maintain precise stock levels.
- Order Fulfillment: Prepare pallets and packages for shipping, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on tasks and catch discrepancies in inventory.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and available for shift work.
- Equipment: Basic knowledge of warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack) is a plus but not required.
