Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks, pallets, and crates onto shelves or shipping areas.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and document any discrepancies immediately.
- Equipment Operation: Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move heavy materials efficiently.
- Packaging: Properly package items to ensure they are secure during transit, using appropriate materials.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free warehouse environment to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Experience: No prior warehouse experience required; we value attitude and work ethic over experience.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Must be meticulous when counting stock and checking for damaged goods.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
- Reliability: A history of punctuality and consistent attendance is essential.
