Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates, forklift operators, and logistics staff.
- Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and coordinate with management for repairs.
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve logistics issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics.
- Valid forklift certification and knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
