Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight: Safely and efficiently handle incoming and outgoing shipments using hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Prepare orders: Accurately pick, pack, and stage products for shipment to our customers.
- Maintain safety: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and workplace safety guidelines at all times.
- Inventory management: Assist in stock counts and inventory organization to ensure accuracy.
- Equipment care: Inspect and report any issues with warehouse equipment or facility damage immediately.
- Cleanliness: Keep the loading dock and storage areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Physical stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work a rotating schedule.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Background check: Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Age requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory for qualified candidates.
