Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks and trailers, ensuring all items are handled with care.
- Inventory Management: Accurately sort, count, and organize stock to maintain inventory records.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse equipment as required.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily productivity targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not always required.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- License: Valid driver's license required; forklift certification preferred.
- Skills: Basic math skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
