Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks and pallets using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against digital manifests and perform accurate scanning.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and maintain a clutter-free workspace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic inspection and maintenance of warehouse equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to optimize workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required for the right attitude.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and scanning items.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
