Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks and trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Accuracy: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory counts.
- Material Handling: Organize, stack, and secure merchandise in designated areas to prevent damage and optimize warehouse space.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist in picking and packing orders to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or retail stocking preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and documentation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Availability: Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
- License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if driving company vehicles).
