Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Verification: Accurately check and verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing slips.
- Organization: Sort, stack, and organize products in the warehouse to ensure efficient retrieval.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain material handling equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required; we train the right candidates.
- Driving: Valid driver’s license is required for transporting goods within the facility.
- Math Skills: Basic math skills to verify counts and quantities.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible shifts including overtime.
