Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Verification: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, checking against packing slips and invoices.
- Stock Organization: Organize stock in the warehouse in a systematic and efficient manner to ensure easy retrieval.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and warehouse safety protocols at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions to management immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping targets and operational deadlines.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and ensure efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Documentation: Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a background check.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and paperwork.
- Basic Skills: Ability to read and understand basic instructions and safety labels.
