Responsibilities
- Efficiently load/unload freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques
- Verify shipment accuracy against packing lists and documentation
- Maintain organized warehouse inventory through systematic stacking and labeling
- Safely operate material handling equipment following OSHA protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping/receiving targets
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Uphold strict safety standards and 5S workplace organization principles
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or logistics experience required
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper techniques
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays during peak seasons
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license preferred
