Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control systems and conduct accurate cycle counts
- Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently
- Optimize warehouse layout to maximize storage capacity and workflow
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Maintain OSHA compliance and implement safety protocols
- Train new associates on warehouse procedures and equipment
- Generate daily productivity reports and identify improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse or logistics experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Forklift certification preferred but not required
