Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack orders from warehouse shelves using RF scanners
- Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) after certification
- Perform inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy
- Adhere to strict cold chain protocols for temperature-sensitive products
- Maintain clean, organized work areas following OSHA safety standards
- Collaborate with shipping/receiving teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn inventory software
- Valid Alaska driver's license (for equipment operation)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment
- Ability to work in cold temperatures (4°C/40°F) for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Team player with strong communication skills
