Responsibilities
- Retrieve and pick customer orders accurately and efficiently from the warehouse shelves.
- Inspect products for defects and ensure proper packaging to prevent damage during transit.
- Operate handheld scanners and inventory management systems to update stock levels in real-time.
- Safely load and unload merchandise onto delivery trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Organize inventory in designated zones to ensure fast and logical order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with the packing team to ensure timely shipment of orders.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods (shifts are typically 8-10 hours).
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills to follow picking tickets and safety protocols.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
