As a Warehouse Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive their orders accurately and on time. We value safety, efficiency, and a positive attitude in our workplace.
Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack Orders: Accurately select items from the warehouse shelves based on purchase orders and pack them securely for shipment using provided equipment.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered pallet jacks, hand trucks, and RF scanners to move inventory efficiently within the facility.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate stock counts by updating inventory systems and reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing packages to ensure they meet quality standards and are free from damage.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols, including wearing provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep your designated work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly for extended periods.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfort with basic addition, subtraction, and reading barcodes/serial numbers.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; we provide on-the-job training.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to verify order accuracy and ensure proper labeling.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
