Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
- Lead and mentor a team of warehouse associates, providing clear direction and performance feedback
- Implement and maintain OSHA compliance standards and safety protocols
- Optimize inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and minimize shrinkage
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics activities with transportation and procurement teams
- Analyze operational metrics and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and safety inspections
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record in team leadership and performance management
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety standards
- Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory control software
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Forklift certification and experience with warehouse equipment
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
