Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage team of 10-15 associates with focus on productivity and safety standards
- Implement inventory control procedures using WMS technology
- Conduct regular safety audits and maintain OSHA compliance
- Train and mentor new team members on operational protocols
- Optimize workflow processes to meet daily/weekly targets
- Coordinate with transportation team for seamless logistics execution
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- No prior warehouse experience necessary – training provided!
- Strong leadership potential and team management abilities
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn WMS systems
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends if needed
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Physical stamina for warehouse environment (standing/walking)
