Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and safety standards
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce compliance with OSHA regulations
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems
- Resolve operational challenges and escalate critical issues as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management or supervisory experience
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
