Responsibilities
- Manage 10-15 warehouse staff through daily scheduling, training, and performance reviews
- Oversee inventory control systems, including cycle counts and reconciliation
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a safe, organized work environment
- Optimize warehouse layout and material handling processes for maximum efficiency
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless inbound/outbound logistics
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives using lean methodologies
- Generate operational reports and KPI tracking for management review
- Resolve escalated customer and vendor issues with professional diplomacy
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with team leadership
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Forklift certification and equipment operation expertise
- Strong analytical skills for inventory optimization
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends if required
