Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily workflow of the warehouse, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
- Manage, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates to ensure high productivity and safety standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce strict compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and implement strategies to reduce shrinkage and optimize storage.
- Coordinate with transportation and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Prepare weekly schedules and manage labor allocation to meet operational deadlines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and maintaining high safety standards.
- Valid Forklift Operator certification is required.
- Strong knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory control procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical demands, including lifting heavy items.
