Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor 15+ team members, providing performance feedback and training
- Implement lean principles to optimize inventory accuracy and reduce waste
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Coordinate with logistics team to meet delivery deadlines and client expectations
- Maintain accurate documentation of inventory, equipment maintenance, and safety audits
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience in high-volume environments
- OSHA 30-hour certification and Forklift Operator certification
- Proven track record in inventory control and warehouse optimization
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- Experience with TMS integration and route optimization
