Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of 10-15 warehouse associates through performance coaching and scheduling
- Implement lean principles to optimize workflows and reduce operational costs
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system reconciliations
- Coordinate cross-functional communication with transportation, procurement, and customer service teams
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' warehouse management experience in a fast-paced distribution environment
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operation credentials required
- Proficiency with WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development experience
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and data-driven decision-making
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying temperature conditions
