- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Lead and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse associates through performance coaching and training
- Implement and maintain OSHA compliance protocols and safety standards
- Optimize inventory management systems to reduce waste and improve accuracy
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient dock scheduling and load planning
- Analyze operational metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and forklift operator certifications
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse management experience with 2+ years in supervisory role
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Forklift certification and equipment operation expertise
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred
- Proven track record of reducing operational costs by 10%+
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
