Responsibilities
- Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Train and mentor new team members on safety protocols and procedures
- Monitor inventory accuracy and implement cycle counting processes
- Optimize workflow efficiency to meet productivity targets
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless logistics execution
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for data tracking
- Conduct regular team meetings to foster communication and performance
Qualifications
- No prior warehouse experience required – we train the right candidates!
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn WMS software
- Excellent communication and leadership potential
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
