Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse associates with performance evaluations
- Implement safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance across all warehouse activities
- Optimize inventory control systems and conduct regular cycle counts
- Coordinate cross-functional operations with transportation, procurement, and customer service teams
- Analyze KPIs to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain 99.5% inventory accuracy
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure proper utilization of forklifts, pallet jacks, and automation systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse supervisory experience in fast-paced distribution environments
- OSHA certification and thorough knowledge of safety regulations
- Proficiency in WMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan) and inventory management software
- Strong leadership skills with proven team development and conflict resolution abilities
- Experience implementing lean manufacturing principles and process improvements
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and operate warehouse equipment safely
- Associates degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
