As Warehouse Supervisor, you'll lead a team of 15+ associates, optimize inventory processes, and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Our Reno facility handles over 500,000 square feet of climate-controlled storage and serves major retailers across the Western US.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team of warehouse associates
- Implement and maintain OSHA safety standards and company policies
- Optimize inventory control systems and reduce operational costs
- Coordinate with transportation teams for timely deliveries
- Conduct regular safety audits and compliance inspections
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in distribution/logistics
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Associates)
- Strong leadership skills with conflict resolution expertise
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Experience with inventory management and cycle counting
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
